The Newlook website has a very basic format and I feel it is very easy to get around the site. It’s easy to go back if you get confused and the menu bar is easy to understand. Newlook’s target audience is huge as they provide products to all ages and both females and males. However, I feel that they focus greatly on women ages 16-35 therefore I feel the language they use is very appropriate. The language is easy to understand and there isn’t too much slang that it gets confusing. As a dedicated Newlook shopper myself, I feel that the privacy of your details with Newlook is very good. You can make an account which means that they will save your card details and what’s in your shopping bag and this makes the whole buying experience much easier.

I really like the look of the Newlook website; it is very chic and basic. The main colours are black and white and I like this as it is easy to read but also looks visually appealing. The black and white theme also makes any advertisement they do more obvious. The font is simplistic and is always black or grey so it is easy to read. The multimedia on the Newlook website is really good. The pictures are good sizes, high definition and colourful. They are very eye-catching and look good on the website. The unified style throughout the website is very monochrome and simplistic.
The transition between pages are simple and do not slow down the search speed at all. The style and transitions are consistent all the way through the website. As the website’s style is monochrome there is a lot of white space however this looks good and doesn’t make the website look boring or unappealing. It makes the website look very chic and classy. The website has a very basic style throughout and this is very relative to the company because their stores are very simplistic so the customer knows that they are shopping at Newlook. Also the branding is consistent throughout the website as the known colours for Newlook are black and white; this is continued on the website.
